| Electronic controls & systems offers potentiometric strip chart recorder, elcos ps-100-3, with three independently working pens, corresponding to three parameters. This is suitable for applications where three input signals are to be monitored simultaneously on a common chart. The chartthat moves typically at a speed of 20 mm per hour, gives a real time graph in three colours corresponding to three input signals. The three pens are specially designed disposable pens, provides three colours on graph such as blue [input 1]; red [input 2] and green [input 3]. The three colour shades are quite distinguishable and give correct information of variation of the input signals over a period of time. The three pens are placed 2.5 mm apart from each other, making their movement quite smooth. The chart has a working width of 100 mm and is of z fold type. . The chart drive module is removable. Due to this, the process of chart loading is very easy. Ps-100-3 has totally modular construction, due to which the unit has become very convenient for maintenance purpose. The whole assembly can be easily detached from the cabinet while the unit is in operation. This is an attractive feature for large size process houses as it saves time on the disconnection of bunch of electrical wires. The user areas are: power stations; sugar, pharmaceutical, glass, paper, cement, chemical, and fertilizers industries; furnaces and ovens. Ps-100-3 can accept various signals like rid [pt- 100], 3-wires, thermocouples like fe/co, cr/al; mamps, mvolts, etc. It requires 230 v ac +10% 50 hz power supply. The unit comes in a standard din size of 144 x 144 mm, and a typical depth is 275 mm [max.]
