| Electro arts suppliesoffers safety guards. These safety guards are used for various types of power presses and similar machines for avoiding accidents due to human error while working on then. The principle on which these soperate e workis on infrared principle and sophisticated electronic techniques. Working of thisthe system includes; it forms an invisible parallel beam curtain in between operator and machine. Any obstruction, hand or part of body cutting these rays is detected and signal given for further preventive operation. In case of pneumatic or hydraulic machines, iit is linked with the emergency switch, in case of pneumatic or hydraulic machines,. It stops down coming ram so as to save the operator. In case of mechanical rolling key type presses , tthe output can be used to lock the pedal, so that the ram should not be released from tdc, as long as hand is in danger area, in case of mechanical rolling key type presses. The pedal can be pressed only after removing the hand. Some technical features of these presses include; the unit works on 220 ac supply and providesoffers relay output for further interlocks, . It is available for covering heights up to 1000 mm and the distance between transmitter and receiver can be offered maximum up to 5000 mm, . It can be used with various types of power presses, press brakes, deep drawing presses, bending or shearing machines, injection moulding machines, furnaces or any dangerous area.
