Dmt supplies manually and hydraulically operated rotary surface grinding machines in various sizes. The machine base is of heavy duty cast iron, amply proportioned, and the rotary table has a guide which is completely immersed in oil. The in-built segment dressing attachment helps in quick dressing of the segment. Dmt also supplies electromagnetic chuck of close-pole type. The column is of one-piece, adequately ribbed to add to its rigidity. It has guide-ways of vee and flat type precisely scraped for downfeed accuracy. The spindle unit consists of a spindle and motor coupled together to give positive motion and strong grinding action. The spindle is adequately loaded with preloaded anti-friction bearings to give rigidity to grinding. Vertical feed is accurately graduated to the least count of 0.002 mm. The machine is suitable for mass production jobs with high grinding accuracy.
