the shaft mounted planetary manufactured by cyclo transmissions comprises of two stages helical reduction stages at output and input reduction with standard planetary. Simple planetary consists of a sun gear, planet and ring gear. Planets are combined with the planet carrier rotate at constant centers about the planet carrier. The input is from the sun gear and the drive motion to the planet carrier is via the planet gears. The rolling contact of the planet gears with the ring gear provides the appropriate reduction ratio. Output is through two stages parallel shaft helical gears to achieve the hollow output mounting. Planets are combined with the planet carrier rotate at constant centers about the planet carrier. The input is from the sun gear & the drive motion to the planet carrier is via the planet gears. The rolling contact of the planet gears with the ring gear provides the appropriate reduction ratio. Its gears are made from high tensile alloy steel hardened and ground. The planet carriers are made from steel casting. The shafts are manufactured from high tensile alloy steel and toughened. This compact size shaft mounted planetary offers a long life. It is easy for mounting and provides a high torque capacity. This planetary also offers uniform stress distribution, high overhang load capacity and maintenance free performance. It is applicable at sugar industry, cement industry, mining industries, agitator application, goods and personnel lifts, container handling cranes, derrick and shipboard cranes etc.
