The product range includes: [a] solid state overload relays, [b] mcu based overload relays, [c] mcu and asic based overload relays, [d] solid state/electronic voltage relays, and [e] electronic ground fault relays. Following are some of the advantageous features which are provided by these protection relaysthese relays afford options of multiple protectionsover-current; phase loss; phase unbalance; phase reverse; locked rotor; short circuit; under current and ground fault for motor loads. It also provides user-friendly features/options which also include selectable time characteristicsinverse or definite; fail safe operation; electrical remote/manual resetting facility; independently adjustable starting trip delay and trip time; trouble shooting/trip cause display; test function, etc.There are some of the technical features which are provided by these protection relays which include: all relays are ambient insensitive [range -25°c to +70°c]. The mcu and asic based model also has provision of digital ammeter and digital trip cause indications. Thus, one outstanding feature of this relay is that one can eliminate ammeter, selector switch and metering cts whilst designing electric motor feeder protections. These protection relays it also have s load alert function to pre-warn of possible overloading and avoid unnecessary motor shutdown. Further, only three models cover from 0.1 a to 600 a motor flc, saving inventory cost.
