Capacitor Discharge Welding Machine has the feature of no distortion, tarnishing, discolouring or annealing of metal around the welding zone and welding time is so short that sufficient melting heat is produced in the welding zone before heat dissipation starts, unavoidable with longer welding times. The Machine is suitable for metals of high electrical and thermal conductivity such as copper, silver, gold and even platinum. The Machine comes with a pneumatic weld head for welding fine wires and this unit applies very low pressure for fine wire welding, which is adjusted for different type of jobs, depending upon the size, type conductivity and type of the material to be welded. The Machine can be availed with a simple manual weld held and potential free contact is provided for inert gas purging operation. The Machine has the feature of welding without oxidization, distortion annealing or discoloration, welding close to heat sensitive parts, good welding results with metals of high electrical and thermal conductivity and welding of parts of different cross sections and materials. The Machine has long electrode life, with no cooling requirements, welding of both ferrous and nonferrous metals, welding not affected by power line fluctuations and welded parts can be of less tolerance and may not need cleaning.
