Bangalore safety glass works pvt. Ltd manufactures laminated glass which has the following distinct advantages:
High resistance to penetration because of pvb interlayer, thus ensuring safety.
Localized breakage at the point of impact without hampering visibility.
In case of breakage, broken glass pieces continue to stick to the pvb interlayer eliminating the danger of injury by glass shrapnel.
In case of head impact, the injury sustained is minimized due to the flexibility of the glass.
As laminated glass does not break instantaneously unlike tempered glass, the chances of injury are avoided to a large extent.
