| Aimil offers precision instruments for the measurement and analysis of sound and vibration.The other product range includes condenser microphones and accessories, hand held sound level meters [slm], portable real-time frency analysers, noise dosimeters and environmental noise systems to respond to these needs. Ldl slms simultaneously measure sound pressure level, lmin [rms], lmax [rms], lpeak [weighted and unweighted]. Ln [statistics], leq, sel and time 1/1 weighted avarage [twa] 1/1 or 1/3 octave spectra cominbine those features with the built-in quartz clock/calendar [to establish pre-programmed run/stop times], to perform unattended noise measurements. Apart from hand held slms, ldl offers a wide range of portable systems for different conditions, viz, feather-weight systems for outdoor monitoring in moderate weather conditions. Light-weight systems for use in extreme weather condition, light/heavy-weight systems to perform long term outdoor noise monitoring, heavy-weight system for noise measurements in severe weather conditions where heavy rain or snow is present. Ldl slms find use in every field that produces sound. Some of the main areas of application are: sound level measurements; community noise assessment; environmental noise monitoring; statistical analysis of noise, vibration and other signals; transportation passby measurements; employee noise exposure dosimetry; hearing protection evaluation; production line testing; measurement of sonic boom, artillery, blast noise, automatic weapon fire and other highly impulsive noise events; data logging vibration monitor using accelerometers; and seismic and ground motion analysis using geophones.
