• Add to Inquiry Basket | Agni controls offers ih-224 with ip-66 protection. It is an ultra violet and infra red combined flame detector, which uses infra red sensitive photoelectric sensor to detect flame and ember. Ir flame detector is provided with a narrow sensitivity of 3 to 5 m being completely insensitive to visible light. The narrow sensitivity of 185 to 260 nm is also completely insensitive to visible light. It us designed specially to suit all standard fire alarm panel or to any annunciator or plc or dcs through the potential free `no/nc`contracts. It has red led for visible indication in fire situation. It is also provided with flicker green led to indicate normal condition of the flame detector. It has also special provision to clean detector eye. The combination of uv & ir sensors helps to remove false alarm due to various environmental influence like sunlight, lighting, welding arc, hot bodies and humidity. It is very easy to use, maintain and operate and give quick response to carbon fire. It can detect fire of 1 sq.Ft. Fire at 20 m.
It has wide application in several places like:
Car parking areas, multi-storeyed car parking facilities.
High ceiling, open spaced buildings such as warehouses.
Outdoor or semi outdoor areas where winds or droughts can prevent smoke from reaching a heat or smoke detectors.
Areas where rapidly developing flaming fires can occur, such as storage and transfer areas.
Areas needing high fire risk machinery or installations, often coupled with an automatic gas extinguishing system.
Environment that is unsuitable for other type of detectors.
