Various technical features of these transformers include: the secondary leads are generally of 2.5 metres long with quality ferrule terminated, shrouded core blade for protection during installation, core interleaved at joints for accuracy, no exposed parts, internal burden precision resistor across secondary, epoxy encapsulated, etc. Dielectric strength is of 2,500 v. Etl and ce approved models are sold in other than asian countries. Electrical features of these transformers include: primary current ranges from 5 a to 150 a with a window opening of 19 mm x 19 mm, 70 a to 600 a with a window opening of 31 mm x 31 mm and 600 a to 1500 a with a window opening of 50 mm x 50 mm. Va ratings are 0.2, 1.5 and 2.5 respectively with an output voltage of 333 mv, which are extensively used in transducer circuits in usa, canada and europe. These transformers are used for electronics. The 1 per cent amplitude error and <2 degrees of phase error are achievable with three sizes of split core current transformers offered with secondary output of 333 mv.
