Oiles corporation, japan, manufactures low cost self-lubricating bushes, offered by mac marketing corpn. They are with polyacetal resin base bearing material specially processed and containing lubricating oil, which is uniformly distributed over the entire body. These have been manufactured for application in high load and low speed operations. Oiles self lubricating bushes includes following features:
- self-lubrication;
Maintain a low friction co-efficient at high load, slow speed operations with excellent wear resistance;
Operate under a wide temperature range, from -200 c to +290 c;
Satisfactory performance in rotating, oscillating and axial sliding motions;
Excellent dimensional sability, mechanical strength and thermal conductivity;
Thin-walled and light-weight construction for compact design;
Usable for relatively high speed operations with lubricating oil.
Oiles self lubricating bushes find applications in the following areas:
- where conductivity is required to prevent static charges;
- where a dry operation is desirable;
- under high load and low speed operations, reciprocating operations and intermittent operations,
- where it is difficult to form oil film; and,
- where compact design is desirable.
