• Add to Inquiry Basket | Abb is well known for its generator circuit breakers [gcb] are widely used in all kind of power stations as gas turbine, combined cycle- and thermal power plants as well as geo thermal, hydro and pumped storage power stations. Gcb- type hgi 2/3 have been applied in over 3`300 sf6 applications which has 3-pole, open breaker with operating mechanism and supervisory and control elements, fully assembled on a common frame for indoor installation and the phase distance can be selected to suit the phase distance of the connected bus bar. Advantages are as follows:
