• Add to Inquiry Basket | Cottor international manufactures 36" pyxel huller, which is a highest capacity and most efficient twin roll hulling machine to hull bulk oil seeds like cottonseed, sunflower, soybean, peanuts, etc. The hulling process in this pyxel starts with an adjustable metered roll feeder that offers complete consistency and uniformity to the flow rate. The adjustable feed damper and variable speed control helps in maintaining an accurate and reliable feed rate. The heart of the hulling process of the 36" pyxel huller is the twin, rugged 18" dia rolls equipped with removable huller knives. These twin rolls that are driven at a ratio enhances cutting process and minimizes the amount of uncut and recycle seed. This ratio combined with a spiral lead on the cutting edges allows highest percentage of open "hulled" seed to the separation room. Some of the salient features of the 36" pyxel huller include
Highest quality alloy and hardened to 52r replaceable huller knives for extra long process life.
Removable hulling surfaces allow cottor to tailor knife profiles to fit specific hulling requirements of the wide variety of oil seeds processed.
Single fixture huller knives give absolute interchangeability for all replacements.
Hydraulic cylinders and relief valves protect the machined huller knives while by instantly opening the rolls automatically if any damaging contamination comes in the seed stream.
