Ashida electronics pvt. Ltd. Designs, develops & manufactures electrical power protection relays & scada systems. Traction protection relays are specialised protection relays for 25kv ac traction protection for railways. Most of these are sophisticated relays based on numerical technology. The idmt single pole over current relay from ashida has the following salient features:
1. crystal controlled, temperature stable, time current characteristic consistent even under adverse conditions.
2. wide range of trip point selections in course and fine arrangement
3. continuous monitoring of currents data are available in scaled down dc format for metering, s logging, remote supervision or scada - computer hook-up operations.
4. in situ self testing facility. Saves down- time for maintenance checks.
5. low burden on cts. [less than 0.2va].
6. thermal withstand capacity is greater the 200 amps. Of current
7. immune to wide variations in auxiliary voltages : 85 -250vdc
8. curve is continuously variable
9. test points provided to measure the actual current being passed in the relay.
Used in the transmission and distribution networks with time grading requirements to isolate faulty feeder instantly from healthy feeders, to save distribution transformer from tripping due to one of the faulty feeders & for remote data transfer systems.
