Ashida electronics pvt. Ltd. Designs, develops & manufactures electrical power protection relays & scada systems. General protection relays are meant for 3 phase high-voltage application for use by public utilities & ht consumers. These micro-controller based devices are designed with a very simple front-panel control. The apr1xph / apr1xeh non-directional idmt relays have the following salient features:
1. crystal controlled, temperature stable, time-current characteristic consistent even under adverse conditions.
2. wide range of trip point selections: 50 - 200% for phase and 5 - 80% for e/f.
3. continuous monitoring of current data is available in scaled down dc format for metering, logging, remote supervision or scada - computer hook-up operations.
4. low burden on cts. [less than 0.2va].
5. thermal withstand capacity: current >200 amps for 3 seconds.
6. immune to wide variations in aux. Voltages: 80 - 250v / 18 - 52 vdc.
7. in built extra backup for instant trip hf [high fault] for phase or earth fault in %.
8. supervision or scada - computer hook-up operations.
9. in situations self testing facility. Saves down- time for maintenance checks.
