| Elektromag devices manufactures permanent magnet grids, which provides powerful permanent protection against fine and tramp iron. They are designed for simple installation in steel hoppers, floor openings, vertical closed chutes, ducts, etc. The permanent magnet grid consists of one or more rows of magnetic tubes. A rugged grill protects the magnets and simultaneously slows and directs the material stream onto all of the powerful magnetic tubes. The dimensions of the grids provided are flexible and any special size can be furnished. Circular grids can also be supplied for special uses. In installations where the iron contamination problem is particularly acute, double or multiple bank units can be provided to give extra protection. These models have additional rows of magnetic tubes aligned directly below the open spaces between tubes in the upper row for staggered effect.
