• Add to Inquiry Basket | Carborundum universal ltd, a flagship company of marugappa group offers a wide range of electro minerals. As part of these products, the company offers macro grit white fused alumina. Being highly pure synthetic mineral, it is ideally suited for vitrified bonded abrasive products, where cool, fast cutting action is required. It ca also be used in blasting and surface hardening applications. Pure grade bayer alumina is agitated in an electric arc furnace at temperatures over 2000°c to produce brown fused alumina. The slow solidification process helps to produce blocky crystals. After that the cooled crude is crushed and separated from magnetic impurities. Then this is classified into narrow size fractions for end use. |
