Finolex cables manufactures co-axial cables used for cable tv networks, with specially designed features. The inner conductor is made of electrolytic grade copper, drawn in-house on modern machines. The low loss, special grade polyethylene foam insulation compound is extruded on sophisticated machines. Low loss transmission and clear reception ensures the double screen [laminated al tape and al wire braid]. This is most evident in areas with high concentration of electromagnetic signals. The cables does not offer attenuation values as good as the double screen with single screening. These co-axial cables consist of features as given below:
- higher bandwidth that means more than 50 channels;
- excellent adhesion of dielectric to conductors in addition to bonded aluminium foil to dielectric forbids moisture to enter the cables; and,
- ideal for tropical conditions.
