| Bombay tools supplying agency supplies galvanotest which is a easy to use, strong, sturdy universal coating thickness gauge from elektro physik, germany. These gauges are ideal to measure all electroplated both single and multilayer coatings and operates by using the coulometric principle [din50955 and uso 2177]. This coulometric or anodic removal technique applies to the measurement of electroplated deposits on all substrates like steel, non ferrous metal and also on insulating materials such as nickel on steel, zinc on steel, tin on copper and copper on epoxy. These coating thickness gauge galvanotest functions by using this technique in a way to remove small area of the coating with leaving no damage to the substrate. The coulometric measurement principle of the gauges give accurate result.
