| Pinkcity electronics providesoffers insulation resistance testers [model irb-10000]. These insulation resistance testers are manufactured by adwel international ltd, canada. These resistance testers are developed designed for testing dielectric properties of items, such as wires and cables, high-voltage bushings and insulators. The instruments are equipped with unique sequence interlock-switches to prevent damage to themselves or the items under test. High-voltage is automatically discharged after each test.Following are some technical featuresof these insulation resistance testers:1]the heart of the instruments is an ultra-regulated high-voltage power supply, a must for testing specimens with large capacitance.
2]this assures quick and accurate measurement of insultion resistance, a very useful feature for polarisation index testing. 3]five fixed voltages plus a continuously adjustable test voltage up to 10,000 v dc are available. 4]the testers can be operated from their integral battery or from the line. A built-in battery charger keeps the battery ready for use where no line power is available. 5]megohmmeter covers five decades of resistance on one scale, six extra range multipliers are available on the selector switch. The instruments are equipped with unique sequence interlock-switches to prevent damage to themselves or the items under test. High-voltage is automatically discharged after each test.
