It has spare capacity for manufacturing precision press tools, jigs and fixtures and precision machined light engineering components. Tool elements/components are made by skilled staff on jig-milling [hauser-swiss-3-micron accuracy], jig grinding [hauser-swiss-1-micron accuracy], profile grinding [wasino-japan-5-micron accuracy], and other nc milling/turning machines. Hmt has excellent facilities of manufacturing turned components [dia-350micron to 12000-micron] on sliding head automats. Ample spare capacity is also available for manufacturing carbide tipped collets, solid carbide flat drills and special turning tools for automatic lathes, on imported high accuracy machines.
