| Prolific engineers manufactures abrasion resistance testers for decorative laminated sheets. These resistance testers consist of horizontal platform that rotates at fixed speed with synchronically set motor, symmetrically disposed two rubber wheels about platform axis and located 20 mm in front of its center, and a loading arrangement to press the rubber discs against the sheet surface under a specified load. These abrasion resistance testers are available with the combination of digital counter with memory backup to record platform revolutions number. The testers also come with a vacuum suction device to remove abraded dust from the surface of the test specimen. The abrasion resistance testers are available with salient features of grey hammertone stoving painting finishes and bright chrome plating to give a corrosion resistant finish. Some of the technical specifications of the abrasion resistance testers are 60 + 2 rpm speed of platform rotation; rubber discs with 50 mm dimensions, 12.7 mm width, and 50 to 55 shore-a hardness; 50 to 55 mm distance between face of discs; and 5.4 0.2 n [550 20g] load on rubber discs for decorative laminated sheets, and 500 20g for prelaminated particle boards.
