• Add to Inquiry Basket | Plastic shilp udyog offers polyamide-6 [nylon] the most versatile engineering thermoplastic processed into machinable extruded bars, profiles and moulded components. The mechanical components like gear wheels, sprockets, tires, bearing bushes, slipper pads, pulleys, rollers, and numerous others have replaced succcessfully steel, cast iron, and gunmetal. Due to low coefficient of friction against ferrous and non-ferrous metals, these components give trouble-free service with minimum maintenance. Nylon is resistant to all types of grease and organic solvents. Noise and shock is absorbed by nylon, which make them ideal to modern concept of environmental demand under rising pollution. Nylon components are characterized to their high strength, heat resistance, toughness, fatigue strength and impact strength. This makes it most suitable material in load bearing capacity. Nylon materials are available in the form of stock-shapes, like round, rectangular, square bars, tubes, blocks, sheets and in finished moulded and machined components as per cliental specifications.
