The characteristics includes that the s k industries` cartridge filters are protected on the inside and outside surface by spot-welded perforated/expanded galvenized steel screens. These screens ensure the media remains in place during the reverse pulse mode of the self-cleaning filter unit. With thermostat plastic, the top and bottom end caps are sealed in position. The filtering media contains of pleated and impregnated cellulose base material, which is cured and retained within the inner and outer screens by means of hot melt glue. The construction feature prevents excessive movement an even pleat spacing, thereby ensuring the most effective usage of the available media surface area. In addition, the perforated/expanded screen and end caps components, can be supplied in other materials such as epoxy coated steel and stainless steel, for use in excessively corrosive environments, and can be supplied as per customer requirements. |
