It offers good pre filter prior to sterile grade filter cartridges or membrane disc filter. High positive charge with low pyrogen content filter pad is excellent for IV solution and bulk API. High positive charge with 3-4 mm thickness offers high dirt holding capacity, lower turbidity and improved color transmission. Activated carbon impregnated pad offers advantage over conventional carbon handling and retention system for decolourisation and deodorization. Pure cellulose filter pad is used for vicious and slimy liquid.
Of the Filter Pad and Module, the Filter module is a modern system compared to sparkler type filter press. They are produced using same high quality filter pad. Enclosed system, IN SITU sterilization and disposable makes it ideal for sensitive products like vaccine, recomb, protein and plasma.
