The r-19 series machines are ideal for hemming medium to heavy weight jute, pp woven cloth bags and various kinds of multi-wall kraft paper sacks. Jute and pp woven sacks are then completed by r-20hd or r-20ht over-edging machine, which can overseam the hem parts sewn by r-19 hs in prior process. These special heavy-duty machines are capable of sewing on extra thick material with thickness up to 15mm.
Specification of r-19hs
The maximum speed of the machine is 2100 stitch per minute.
Two thread/single chain-stitch seam [one needle, one looper, two thread]
The range of the stitch ranges from 6.5mm to 13mm
It can take material of thickness up to 15mm
The size of the needle in the machine comes in two types:
1. Dr x 4.32 [organ]
2. Dr x 2 200/25 [groz beckert]
