Cubic transmissions is also designing high performance disc and gear couplings to meet the requirements of a variety of drive systems. In addition customers get the following advantages along with the product: long life and enhanced performance; improved power to weight ratio; high misalignment capability; largest maximum bore capacity; and highest reliability. Coupling selection: the customer can choose suitable coupling type, disc or gear; and select the applicable service factor [sf] from table; coupling rating is calculated at 100 rpm - kw@100 rpm = power [kw] x 100 x sf/speed [rpm]. The customer is free to choose coupling model with equivalent or higher rating, check the maximum bore size with equipment shaft diameter, check misalignment capability and specify dbse [distance between shaft ends]; the client is free to consult the company for all critical applications.
