Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Dry Transformers are needed in distribution network for feeding basements or stilts of high-rise buildings, hotels, malls, stadium, air ports, and chemical and refinery plants. The Transformers have windings which are electrically balanced to minimize axial and radial short circuit forces. The Transformers have coils which are held rigidly in place between insulators clamped to the upper and lower core frames under high compression. The Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Dry Transformers are outdoor/ indoor ground mounted type.
