• Add to Inquiry Basket | Envelope gaskets developed by hi-tech polymers are successfully used in chemical plants, glass lined equipment etc, due to their quality of high temperature, corrosion and ageing resistance. These gaskets are available in size of 12 mm onwards and the thickness of flap is 0.5 mm or as required. They are also provided in oval shapes and larger size. Envelope gaskets are produced in two forms- milled and slit.
Milled type envelope is perhaps the better of the two since it is made to fit the insert and presents a flat face to the flange. Slit type is perfectly adequate for many applications where cost is a major consideration. The envelope in this variety does not present a full face to the flange. Solid gaskets can be made to order in different types of shapes and sizes.
