| Harsha engineers, incepted in 1972, began by developing cages for taper roller bearings, and in 1985 developed brass machined cages as import substitute. The company introduced state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities for pre-riveted ball bearing cages for the first time in india. In the year 2002, it set up a polyamide cage shop. It has obtained iso/ts 16949:2002 certification and implemented erp system - sap. The company also produces bearing seals and other stamped components. Stamping is the process of creating three-dimensional parts or surface definition onto materials, through the use of forms and dies that are forced on to the surface with extreme pressure. Upon removal, the patterns on the forms and dies are indelibly stamped into the material. Steel cages being stamped components, the company intends to leverage its experience of over three decades by diversifying into other stamping components. Currently, it produces bearing seals as per customer requirements that have application in severe conditions. These components are manufactured on precision tools with high level of dimensional accuracy and are thoroughly checked for end user requirements.
