• Add to Inquiry Basket | Ami instruments & electricals is engaged in manufacturing the spares of heat treatment equipment & electrical furnaces to provide complete solution for temperature sensing. These are specially developed and manufactured to suit modern industry requirements. As part of that, the company offers an exclusive ceramic product, permamelt. This is similar to metal and used as thermocouple protection tubes and immersed heater protection tubes in molten aluminum baths. Permamelt does not require daily washing or coating because it has impermeable and non-wetting surface. Having low thermal expansion efficiency and thermal shock resistance, it does not require preheating. Its low heat conductivity prevents temperature drop in the molten aluminum bath and saves energy. As permamelt are made of ceramic material, there is no iron pick-up to create inclusion in the aluminum. Permamelt is highly durable and maintenance free.
