The product line includes brushmaking machines, packaging machines, injection molds & automation solutions. The lpb/cnc drill & fill machine is a new concept in integrated, double-header production cell for household, industrial and personal care brushes. Minimal handling and high output are combined with extreme flexibility. From inception, this machine was designed for the easy incorporation of full automation. The following are its unique features:
Double header machine with 5 stations
Up to 1200 tufts per minute
5 axis cnc control with ac servomotors on all movements
Windows nt based cnc control system with precise error messages
Automatic transfer from drilling to filling station
"click on" brush holder tables available for a wide variety of brushes
Interchangeable between anchor and staple filling
Widely spaced horizontal fiber boxes for easy filling
Brushes remain in the same clamps for all operations
Trimming, cleaning, flagging may be split between two station for improved brush quality
Block length to 620 mm [24"] in a single pass; 914 mm [36"] may be processed automatically, but in two passes
