Operation:-
Feeding pet flakes via feeding conveyor belt, in the cutter compactor the feeding material is dried and pre-densified. The excellent drying effect allows trouble free processing of materials with up to 2 to 4% humidity. Furthermore, the rotary cutters ensure a very efficient, continuous force feeding to directly coupled single screw extruder. The direct combination results in energy savings of up to 40% compared to multi-stage processes. In the extruder the material is plasticized, homogenized and remove moisture from double vented/ degassing system .
