• Add to Inquiry Basket | Prasad group of companies offers compact chillers with 2 tr to 120 tr capacity working in high ambient conditions. These compact chillers are energy efficient air cooled compact chillers with a user-friendly operation. The compact chillers are available with equipments like microprocessor/ plc based controller with digital indication, function and fault details for trouble shooting operation; hermetic compressor with crank case heater; over load protection by an mpcb for the compressor; and high and low pressure switches to safe guard the compressor and the refrigerant system. High volume, high pressure stainless steel impeller & housing with mechanical seal offering long life & no leakage. High volume, high pressure provides faster cooling to give better cycle time. The pump is capable of working 24 hrs. A day throughout the year. No need for second pump.
Stainless steel well insulated tank to save power due to no heat transfer from tank with in built hot & cold well.
Level control in the water tank gives dry-running protection to the pump. As soon as the level goes below a point, the microprocessor will trip the chiller saving the evaporator & the pump.
Automatic re-feeding solenoid valve gets on to re-feed the tank from reservoir as soon as the level goes below a point, in stainless steel water tank.
Large size, stainless steel evaporator gives high efficiency. No corrosion due to stainless steel material.
Danfoss [denmark] make anti freeze thermostat. This equipment will trip the chiller as soon as the temp of water in the evaporator goes below a stipulated limit. This saves the evaporator and the compressor failure due to freezing of water. It is an additional foolproof safety.
Large sized air cooled condenser designed to take care of harsh indian summer conditions. Condenser of aluminum split fins with copper tubes.
High flow, low noise, axial flow fan gives efficient heat transfer & columnar flow.

Inspection sight glass with moisture indication which shows the status of freon gas in circuit and shows whether system is dry or moist.
Filter drier to ensure the system remains dry.
Solenoid valve in refrigerant circuit prevents any liquid accumulation in the evaporator as well as in the compressor.
The chiller is equipped with microprocessor with interlocking system. All faults have text indication. Schematic diagram in the machine is provided with led digital display and indication for easy fault monitoring and solving problem.
All the material used in water line is corrosion proof or stainless steel.
The chiller microprocessor is equipped with time and temperature delay for the compressor. This parameter is adjustable as per process requirement. This prevents unnecessary starts and stops of the compressor and increases its life.
