| Gem equipments manufactures vortex separator which is an easy and permanent solution for moisture removal problem in the compressed air line fitted in the line. This machine is an innovative technology product and is very effective. The moist air after entering the vortex separator hits the shell and passes through the separator generating vortex motion of compressed air. The vortex generator in these vortex separator is fixed and has a number of vanes which separate moisture droplets by impingement separation method. Due to the density, the moisture droplets settle down into the dead zone below the arrestor and moisture free air is let out through the inner shell of the separator. The arrestor does not allow the compressed air to carry the removed moisture as the automatic drain valve [float type] fitted to the dead zone drains the moisture condensate. These vortex separators comes with a sight glass for visually checking moisture level collected in the dead zone and provides 99% effective moisture separation with the least possible pressure drop. The company manufactures these separators in 100 cfm to 250 cfm capacity.
