Adequate size of a tooth pocket of the sprockets ensures appropriate engagement with chain rollers. These are provided with exact tooth forms and accurate pitch diameter to ensure perfect matching with the pitch of the chain. They have prolonged life due to the presence of accurate tooth profile, outstanding workmanship and flame-hardened tooth. The accurate tooth profile reduces the friction between chain roller and tooth pocket. The early elongation of the chain can be done by the tooth pocket because it helps a chain to distribute the load uniformly over all the links of a chain and teeth of the sprocket.
