Crutcher consists of a container, open top- mounted with drive system. It is made of mild steel with an external jacket for hot water circulation or steam. A control valve on the bottom of crutcher adjusts the discharge of mixed mass. The soap drawn from the kettle through skimmer pipe is transferred to a crutcher to neutralize any remnants of free alkali by the addition of oil or fatty acids etc. The machine has cooling & heating arrangements distinctive shape of bar can be had with suitable mouthpiece. Single worm plodder is used in the manufacture of detergent cakes. |
