Modern Apparels manufactures Aluminised Fire Proximity Suits. Modern Apparels offers Industrial Fire Safety Suits, Fire Retardant Overall/ Garments, etc. These Fire Proximity Suits are made out of 16 oz imported aluminized glass fibre fabric with dual mirror having 90% reflection of heat as a outer layer, and with woolen fabric lining. Additional layer [Vapour Barrier] is also used for higher temperature. Outer fabrics are tested and approved by Defence Institute for Fire Research New Delhi & field tests are performed by Defence-Indian Navy NBCD School, INS Shivaji. Lonavla Maharashtra.

Complete Fire Proximity Suit consists of the following:
Overall: An Overall is one piece suit or 2 pieces jacket & trouser having zipper & stud fastener with or without pouch on back to accommodate breathing apparatus. Stitching is done by ‘KEVLAR’ Threads.
Hood: It houses a fibre glass helmet for firemen as per IS-2745. There are two elasticized straps to cover well below the shoulders. Hood has the visor consisting of curved plain and tinted poly carbonate & outer layer of thin transparent mica.
Gloves: 14inches long five fingered type gloves, having stud fastener for better securing at wrist.
Boots: Boots are made of upper layer of aluminized glass fibre fabric & inner lining of quality leather, with heavy duty zipper covered with aluminized fabric flap with extra stud for double protection. Special Neoprene Rubber sole in non skid pattern is used in oil / chemical / grease area and there is metal toe for extra air-room & protection.
These Aluminised Fire Proximity Suits are used for rescue operations in an area of intense heat, fire, steam, hot liquid by fire fighters in industries like petrochemical plants, foundries, plant, steel, glass, ceramics & defence.
