| Battery operated manpack systems and standalone repeaters require high mtbf and reliable converters with 90% efficiency and energy conservation devices. Cosel co, japan, has professional grade ac/dc and dc/dc power sources with single and dual outputs assembled with state-of-the-art smd technology. These converters have 7 mm height extending to 8.5 mm for 25 w outputs. 100 w converters with extended features and built-in heat sink are having a maximum height up to 12 mm. Master/slave capability and voltage/current balance controls extend power sharing to generate 500 w converters or higher power, if desired by the user. All converters have ac 500 isolation extending to 3000 v ac as well as environmental approvals of humidity, vibration and shock impact. Operating temperatures range from 20oc to 71oc and storages from -40oc to 85oc. International safety approvals of ul 1950, csa 22.2, tuv, iec 950, vde 0160, en 60950 and dentori are carried by all converters as well as rf noise clearances of fcc, vcci-2 and vfg 243/91.
