| Hitco super efficient and economical air-cooled ceramic band heater are suitable for blower air-cooling process/applications on extrusion machines. These air-cooled ceramic band heater has 60% open by perforated metal sheet heater band covered with blower cover for mounting the blower to ensure maximum surface exposure for better cooling. Air-cooled ceramic band heaters are available with advantages like low cost, easy replacement, low maintenance, no leakage problem and uniform temperature control. The instruments come with salient features such as super efficient and economical for the blower air-cooling process/applications on extrusion machineries; increased-cooling capacity achieved by increasing surface area of the barrel with specialty designed heating cooling elements; highly conductive ceramic elements from material in a special design; 60 to 300 mm fast delivery; diameter without extra tooling costs; high temperatures use; simplicity of construction for easy fittings; uniform barrel temperature attained by using entire surface area of barrel and heat is controlled by cooling system. The company provides air-cooled ceramic band heaters with in-built insulation 25 mm thick and with a metal housing incorporating flange for cooling fan and electrical connection box. These air-cooled ceramic band heaters are available with 60 w/square inch maximum watt density, with or without blower jackets and perforated heater for fins to provide faster cooling as optional feature.
