The Jet Ejector consist of three main parts-
The Driving Nozzle
The Diffusor
The Suction Chamber
The flow chanel of the diffusor consist of a part converging in the direction of the flow [the inlet cone], a cylindrical piece [the throat] and a diverging part [the outlet cone]. The operation of Jet Ejectors is based on the fact that the motive medium jet [water of steam], leaving the driving nozzle entrains air from the suction chamber & compress it to atmospheric pressure.
