Electrochemical machining [ecm] process is useful for electrochemical removing of stock from metal materials without physical contact, as these are not exposed to either mechanical or thermal stress. The physical or chemical properties of the materials also remain unchanged consequently. The electromechanical machining follows the law of faraday in order to remove metal, as material amount is removed proportional to the product of current intensity and active time. In this process of the electro-chemical machines only water is consumed besides the electric current. The electrolyte salt needs to be replenished because of the loss of electrolyte in case of removing the sledge and because electrolyte remains on the removed workpieces.
