| Orlab instruments is the supplier of udk 126 d equipment for protein determination in food and feed. Areas of application: it is a steam distilling unit for determining ammonia nitrogen, total kjeldahl or direct alkaline protein nitrogen, nitric nitrogen [after reduction], phenols, volatile fatty acids, cyanides, sulphur dioxide, alcohol content etc., in cereals, food and feed, water, soil, sludge, sediments and chemicals. The distillation unit is equipped with a patented steam generator fed with deionised water, in absolute safety and with minimum maintenance. The additions of sodium hydroxide to the solution to be distilled, when required, are obtained by the operation of a pump whose volume is evaluated by a graduated scale. Cooling water supply is automatically interrupted during idle periods, sharply reducing water consumption.
