It has an automatic gripping and tensile testing of yarn to measure breaking force and elongation. Capacity: up to 600 tests per hour; breaking force -1 to 10 kg; specimen length - 100 to 500 mm and the traverse speed is 100 to 5000 mm per minute. Features include: constant rate of extension or elongation [cre] principle; rugged construction and ergonomicaily designed for extended life cycle; at the instant of feeding of yarn to the grip, test starts automatically; separate calibration program makes quick and enhanced calibration; pretension weights are guided by the instrument according to yarn count; selectable force unit: gram/ centinewton; selectable elongation unit: mm/ percentage; enhanced sample creel for easy access; efficient pneumatic clamping jaws with superior performance. Computer connectivity facilitates statistical and graphical results. Statistical report includes single and overall breaking force, time to break, tenacity [rkm] and elongation. Graphical report contains stroke diagram, frequency distribution chart, control chart and fe curve. |
