| Easy access is provided by elkeen test terminal blocks. These test terminal blocks are used for on-site testing of meters, relays and instrument transformers without disconnecting the circuit from load and avoid ct open circuit problems. These terminal blocks are designed for projection mounting and can be supplied for either front or back connection type according to the requirements. Following are some technical features of these blocks which include: housing of terminal blocks, ie, base and cover are made from high insulated superior electrical grade bakelite powder and provide excellent glossy finish; base moulding is provided with integrally moulded barriers between terminals to give complete protection against flashovers. In addition, to avoid flashover of entry cablesx, a bakelite sheet shield is provided in frontx; to prevent unauthorised accessx, bakelike cover is secured by sealing arrangementx; live parts are made of brass thoroughly bright nickel plated for high conductivity and anti-corrosive effects. In the back connection type, to ensure exact phase oriented connection and easy identification during wiring, the studs are colour coded by pvc sleeves [r, y, b, and n]. All voltage terminals are shrouded to protect from any electrical hazards; easy connection/disconnection of the meter or relay is allowed by movable links for testing;ttb is continuously rated for 30 amps at 50c up to 600 v.
