Consolidated machines manufacturers hydro pneumatic cylinders in which the speed of pneumatic action and the force developed by hydraulics is combined to impart the key features of a production machine. Hydro pneumatic cylinders are applicable in sheet metal working such as trimming, embossing, shallow drawing, riveting -locking or clamping applications, compacting and moulding applications and assembly-maintenance and robotics applications. The piston rod is supported at both ends - provide good rigidity.

The piston rod movement is cushioned at both ends - reduces noise level and shocks.
Tonnage regulator - ensures process and tool safety.
High pressure measuring connection - which can be used to monitor the process and actuate automatic production cycle. A pressure gauge at this point is a standard supply.
The oil chamber is maintained under mild spring pressure - this improves stroke frequency, permits installation in any orientation and saves on air consumption.
Distinct separation of oil and air chambers - ensures air/oil separation - enhances reliability, helps in trouble shooting.
