Promtech chemicals offers norus-30, a water based chip type rust preventive for all types of hydrochloric/sulphuric acid pickled components. The acid pickled ms components are dipped in a 5% solution of norust- 30 for 5-10 minutes and allowed to be air-dried.The treated steel components acquire total atmospheric corrosion protection. Yellowing or rusting is prevented for a period of 15-30 days. This treatment is therefore an excellent treatment for all types of steel, which are subjected to acid pickling, fabricated mild steel components/pressed automobile components, sheets, angles channels, i-beams, sections, hot rolled sheets tubes and wires of mild steel, heat treated components and coils, etc, are normally pickled in hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid bath solutions for the process of removal of heavy rust, oxide coatings and black scales.
