They are manufactured to meet the growing needs of users in industry, mechanical handling and automation. Weforma industrial shock absorbers decrease the kinetic mass energy dissipated in shock impacts in an almost linear relationship over a given distance. Thus there is increment in production output by increasing the speed, prolong the service life of the machines, improve product quality, simplify the design, reduce plant noise and improve operator productivity. There are four different damping systems are available:
[1] hydraulic damping components are adjustable, self adjustable, set or progressive with strokes between 4 and 1,000 mm.
[2] hydraulic speed controllers cover feed rates from 0.015 to 0.6 m/s.
[3] heavy-dust shock absorbers are plastosol based, with strokes from 100 mm to 1000 mm.
[4] non-liquid systems are elastomer based for special applications, special shock absorbers for glass industry, and custom built shock absorbers for specific applications.
