| A test jig is offered by prestige electronics to determine the current/time characteristics of fuses, mcbs, etc. Following are some technical features of this testing jig which include:has a precision current source simply settable by front panel controls; does not require external arrays of rheostats or other load; test current injected is regulated dc with very low ripple. Metering problems due to waveform distortion are not encountered, since metrology equipment pvt ltd . Due to fast response measurement down to fractions of a second is possible. Digital current meter, time interval meter, and millivolt meter are also provided with this testing jig . The equipment can be used to measure mv drop across contacts, joints, temperature rise at a specified current. Some of the operational features are:connect sample under test, and press the start button:set current is injected, time interval meter starts counting, the instant fuse/mcb opens, time interval meter freezes and an audio buzzer sounds to alert the operator. Suitable for r&d and production purposes, the equipment is available in ratings from 25 to 300 amps dc.
