| Flamepack manufactures fp brand plant communication systems in various models for use in hazardous locations in gas groups i, ii a and ii b. These telephone units come with tongue and groove joints without providing any intermediate gaskets having weatherproof protection. The unit displayed is a table/desk top telephone suitable to be used on desks/table in hazardous sites such as oil filling gantries, port control room, lpg bottling plants and various other places where the work is involved on the table. The system has intrinsically safe circuitry for high reliability. The unit can be easily merged with the present epabx system inside the plant. The system is provided with silicon key pad to prevent moisture/water affecting the function of keypad. Metallic handset provided with noise cancellation device for good transmission of speech and elimination of distortion. The magnetic reed disconnection ensures safer, smoother and quicker disconnection. The plus point in the above model is that it can be converted to wall mounting unit by opening the 8 allen cap screws of the main cover and rotating the cover by 180°. The system can be easily hooked with fp make horn units to make announcements from the respective telephones.
